The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) announces that AFP Monterey Bay Chapter has been named a 2014 Ten Star Chapter.
Every year, AFP, the largest association of professional fundraisers in the world, honors chapters for achieving goals that align with key objectives in its long-range strategic plan. Chapters receive the Ten Star Award for performing specific activities designed to increase professionalism within fundraising and public awareness of the importance of philanthropy.

Mr. Dennis will address the primary goals of Strategic Planning, including how to instill a sustainable planning discipline and create a framework for annual planning that will result in measurable objectives for your organization. He will also demonstrate the "big rocks" approach to goal setting.

Our AFP Monterey Bay Chapter offers members an exciting opportunity to transform their fundraising
careers through its Mentorship Program.
The Mentorship Program formalizes a mentoring relationship in a structured program that offers four
group workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions committed to meeting your personal and career goals.
Our Mentors provide their mentees with an experienced friend who is there to help in any number of
situations.
And mentees provide fresh ideas and coaching opportunities for someone looking to sharpen
their professional tools.
