Big News for CTC!

CHICAGO SPRINTS

This Saturday CTC will be on hand for the 10th annual Pilsen Hip Hop Festival in an effort to push recruitment. You can find us in the main court at 2101 S. May St. from 12- 6 p.m., with alumni and current rowers in attendance. We've also entered one of our boats--the Papa Smurf--in Elevart's graffiti challenge. Come preview the artists' handiwork before it hits the water this fall! Should be a fun day and a good opportunity to check out the neighborhood. For more information, visit HERE.

BOATHOUSE NEWS!

And in very exciting and long-awaited news, this Sunday marks the City of Chicago's groundbreaking for the new Bubbly Creek boathouse. This public facility, which we've been helping to plan with the City and the Chicago Park District, will allow CTC to expand our enrollment and better serve the communities of the South and West sides. Please join us and Mayor Rahm Emanuel at 3 p.m. for the official ceremony at 2800 S. Eleanor St. If you have any questions feel free to contact us directly. It's a big day for all of us at CTC, and we hope to share it with as many of our friends and supporters as possible!

Sincerely,
