The Center for Photonic Communication and Computing (CPCC) is receiving a four-year $8 M grant from DARPA to demonstrate advanced quantum communication technologies as part of DARPA's recently launched Quiness program.

The grant entitled "Macroscopic Quantum Communications using Photonic Qudits" is a collaboration between five universities and three industrial partners with Northwestern as the lead institution.

Results from recent work by Aggelos K. Katsaggelos and his colleagues on EEG source localization appeared on the cover of the November issue of The European Physical Journal Plus. The article is titled "Variational Bayesian localization of EEG sources with generalized Gaussian priors."  Read more
