Community Easter Egg Hunt 
March 26
Grab your Easter baskets and get ready for a day of fun Saturday, March 26!
This family event will include egg hunts for all ages beginning at 10 a.m. Games, face painting, music and a visit from the Easter Bunny will be a part of the festivities ending at noon.

POLICE OFFICER 
KEVIN ELLISON
Milton Police Department's newest member, Officer Kevin Ellison, comes to Milton with over 28 years of policing experience.

Officer Ellison most recently served with the Dekalb County Police Department and retired with the rank of Major. He's starting off his field training with Officer Fleck and A Squad.

GREENSPACE COMMUNITY MEETINGS

Join the Milton Planning Commission for a series of meetings and workshops to help determine what standards we should look at for preserving greenspace in our community. The city wants public input on the future direction of land protection, trails, rural views, parks and passive recreation areas that would benefit you.

So, come out to one or all of the following Planning Commission meetings and work sessions to have your say on this important topic:
  • March 10, Thursday, at 7 p.m., City Hall Council Chambers (work session)
  • March 23, Wednesday, at 7 p.m., City Hall Council Chambers
  • April 14, Thursday, at 7 p.m., City Hall Executive Conference Room (work session)
  • April 27, Wednesday, at 7 p.m., City Hall Council Chambers

2016 BUSINESS LICENSE RENEWALS DUE
Business license renewal packets for 2016 were mailed in mid-December 2015. Businesses have until March 31, 2016 to renew their license.  

How can I pay my business license renewal?
By phone: Call 678.242.2500 and ask for the Finance Department.

Household Paint & Chemical Collection
Online pre-registration is now available for Milton's household paint and chemical collection event, to be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19 at Cambridge High School thanks to Milton Grows Green.

Sunshine on a Ranney Day

Sunshine on a Ranney Day (SOARD) is a local nonprofit with  the mission to serve and restore hope to children with special needs and long-term illnesses and their families by renovating their homes. SOARD has helped families in and around our community find a way to smile by installing wheelchair accessible bathrooms, dream bedrooms, in-home therapy rooms and wheelchair ramps/lifts in their homes.
