Thanks to everyone who enrolled in summer session 2015-- you have helped make this one of Inspire's most robust sessions in our 10 year history! (And remember, you can still sign up through the end of this week or look at our 5 week course offerings starting in July.) We appreciate your patience if you were inconvenienced with our database switch-over and look forward to smooth and integrated sailing now that we've got our new and efficient procedures in place.

As you may know, we now have Martha Bryant as our part-time development director and she, along with all of you, will continue to spread the message of Inspire throughout the community. Welcome to the team Martha!

We hope to see you at one of our upcoming events -- join us and bring a friend!

It's Painting.
With a Purpose.

If you're new to painting and/or want a fun night out with your friend(s) and/or beau, come and join us at  Painting With a Twist-SA -- San Antonio's first "wine and sip" painting studio where painting basics are offered in a one night and done class. 50% of all fees will benefit Inspire's outreach programs.

The painting will be offered as a paired version (pictured above) or a single version (pictured below).

WHAT'S YOUR INSPIRE STORY?

Welcome to what we hope is an interesting series of profiles on Inspire students, instructors, and board members. Let us know if you'd like to share your story! [email protected]

Meet Elizabeth "Izzy" Anderson -- your host for the
Painting With A Twist Painting With A Purpose
to benefit Inspire next week (thanks Izzy!).

Izzy Anderson, Inspire student and 2015 inspireD People's Choice Winner

A painting teacher herself, Izzy needed a mentor--
read her Inspire story:

"After graduating, I wanted to do something for myself so I decided to take art lessons. I googled and quickly found Inspire. I immediately liked how Inspire was a not-for-profit art studio, and I was 'inspired' by all the outreach in my community. I called and signed up to take private art lessons. After a few months of lessons, I signed up to take the class "Painting Whatever." My friends and family comment about my growth as an artist. I get one-on-one help in class, and I love having a mentor that I can ask about selling my art, or about a new technique. I am truly grateful for all that Inspire does, not just in my life, but in the lives of everyone they touch with art."
