Moving Comfort Uprise and Uplift Sports Bra
"Have you been looking for a new sports bra for a couple years? Look no further! I was struggling to find a perfect fit for the past few years and when I first tried on the Moving Comfort Uplift, I knew I had found it. With wide bands and a clasp in the back, it provides amazing support and is easy to get on and off. It comes in A/B cup and D/C cup so it it can fit different body types. This bra is quickly becoming a favorite among our female employees and it comes in fun colors! I now have four different colors, one for each run!"

What's working out on the roads and in the woods for you, our loyal patrons!
"The Nike quarter zip tops are my favorite piece of running gear for a number of reasons. First, the material and cut are extremely comfortable and wick well to keep my core warm and dry. They make excellent transition pieces to wear during fall and spring, when morning temps can vary greatly and they don't weigh you down. They also make excellent layering pieces for colder winter runs and are comfortable under jackets or on top of long or short sleeved shirts - very versatile. They are also stylish and make great investment pieces - you can't go wrong buying one for yourself or your favorite runner, they even feel and look great out and about. "

Ragged Products of the Month
Altra Lone Peak 2.5 ($120)
Altra continues to fill a unique niche here at Ragged Mountain with its zero drop platform on traditional stack heights, a perfect combination for those customers seeking a safer transition to more minimal running and walking. The Lone Peak 2.5 is the company's best selling model, and our most recent addition to the Altra lineup (joining the Instinct/Intuition and the Torin). It is an unabashed trail shoe, complete with forefoot rock plate and a sticky rubber outersole for extra traction on dirt, gravel and rocks. And with a stack height of 25mm and a weight of 10.6 oz (men)/9.2 oz (women) it is cushioned enough to compete with shoes such as the Brooks Cascadia and Saucony Xodus, two longtime Ragged Mountain trail favorites.

Hoka Infinite ($120)
The latest model from Hoka is one we have been eagerly anticipating for many, many months as it brings two very important attributes to the table. The first is the sticker price of $120, the lowest in the Hoka offering and much more in line with the average prices of other brand's models. Secondly, it is the first real "stability" shoe from Hoka, and will target those customers whose overpronation requires some medial correction. Just arrived in the store today so come by and give them a try!
Save-A-Bag Donation
Our save-a-bag donation cause of the month (every time, you, our customers don't take a bag when you make a Ragged Mountain purchase, we donate a nickel to our selected monthly cause). This month's charity is Camp Holiday Trails, a caring community committed to empowering, encouraging and educating Campers with chronic illnesses, their families and healthcare professionals.
Shoes for the Shoeless
Last month, thanks to your generosity, we were able to donate 250 pairs of shoes to help sustain family farms in third world communities in Africa and another 24 pairs to our local homeless neighbors.
It's now quiet on the UVa Corner with our student neighbors away for Spring Break (until the 13th)!
