Girls Shabbaton
The Grade 5-8 Girls had an incredible Shabbaton this past week. Organized by Mrs. Greenwald assisted by Morah Miller and many others, the girls were kept busy with exciting and engaging activities from Friday afternoon till Motzai Shabbat. For some it was the special Shabbat meals, for others it was the late Friday night sleepover, for others it was the singing and the activities, the trip to 7-11 on the way to school Saturday night, but for everyone the Shabbaton was the highlight of the year. The girls are looking forward to this being an annual event.
Many thanks to all the organizers, hosts, and helpers.
The Greenwald, Miller, Ullman, Rose, Wilms, Goldenberg and Ortega families.
Special thanks to Ms. Chaya Miller and Ms. Shani Nadoff who came all the way from New Jersey to bring ruach and warmth to the Shabbaton.

Safe and Caring Policy
As you may know, Alberta Education is requiring every School Authority to submit a Safe and Caring Schools Policy by the end of March. Our Administration has been working hard to prepare a policy that meets the needs of our school, our families and our students.  We have received some informal parent feedback and would like to offer our families, the opportunity to provide more feedback regarding the policy. We will be having a Parental Feedback Meeting on Tuesday March 15  from   8:30-9:30 AM  at the school. If you are unable to make it at this time but would like to have your say, please feel free to contact Rabbi Greenwald or Mr. Hadden.

The game that has taken Israel and Vancouver by storm HAS COME TO CALGARY!
Designed for all Mamas, or any woman over the age of 30 and way up!

The game itself is played like volleyball, but with catching and throwing. Perfect for ALL SKILL levels, it's a FUN time! This program is great for anyone who wants to be part of a team, play with friends or meet new friends. The games are easy to play and score and there's laughter aplenty. We play every Monday evening at the JCC at   8:00 PM. New players are always welcome. Feel free to come and watch or give it a try.
