Build a Bluebird House
Help bluebirds (or other small cavity-nesting birds) by building nestboxes from pre-cut kits. You'll learn how to place your box in the right habitat, in addition to eastern bluebird conservation efforts. Cost for nonmembers is $20/Adult and Free for children. Compagnie Hervé Koubi: Excerpts from "What the day owes to the night"
French choreographer Hervé Koubi created this all-male company of 12 Algerian and Brukinabé dancers after discovering his Algerian roots. In what The Washington Post calls a "stunning fusion of acrobatics, gymnastics, b-boying, modern dance and ballet," the compagnie fuses contemporary dance with martial arts, urban dance, and capoeira. Free admission.
