Our Mission
The Child & Family Guidance Center's mission is to promote positive child development and the emotional well-being of children as well as to empower families to provide a nurturing, caring safe haven for children to grow and mature.
The Champions for Children Fundraising Gala
The Child & Family Guidance Center's main fundraising event of the year will honor local ‘champions for children’ and raise monies to support our mental health, family support, and community based services for Fairfield County youth and their families. Join us for an evening of inspiration, tastings, cocktails, a fantastic silent auction, and much more!
- Over the last year alone, we served more than 3,100 Fairfield County children and families (infants through age 18) via our Bridgeport, Norwalk, Fairfield and Stratford offices
- More than 90% of our clients live in poverty and 68% belong to a minority group
- Most of our families struggle to meet basic needs, such as food, clothing and shelter. We never deny services based on an inability to pay.
- Our research-based programs empower children and families to succeed even in the most difficult of circumstances...
