Valid Complaint but there's a better solution

I am very disappointed to see the free website included in my Premium Dealer Zone being discontinued. I also appreciate the timely notice that arrived June 2, explaining I can no longer edit my old Dealer Zone website effective June 1! I originally signed up for the Dealer Zone mostly to establish a basic web presence. What enhancements are being provided to the Dealer Zone to make up for the loss of the website capability, or are you going to reduce the Premium Dealer Zone monthly fee? (If AMSOIL University training will be free I'm on board!)
I now have to make business decisions to determine if it is worth keeping the Dealer Zone and/or a web presence. For new and low volume T-1-qualified Dealers this is a struggle; we are now faced with nearly $150 in annual fees just to maintain the Dealer Zone and a minimal web presence, excluding domain name fees. Perhaps I should just consider making my business's
Facebook page my forward facing website and save myself the extra $30/yr. AMSOIL is now requiring me to pay for what used to be a free service included in my Premium Dealer Zone membership. How much commission does corporate AMSOIL receive for each of these new website "options" hosted by Empowerkit?

I have read my Dealer Magazine and was surprised to learn that my current website, which I got with the Dealer Zone, will no longer be used. Now I am losing my website, with no reduction in the Dealer
Zone, plus I have to pay for the other website. Although this may seem trivial, I assure you it is important to me. I know my business is minute, some months it seems non-existent, but it helps us, since we are on a fixed income, and I can't get out much anymore. I have to try to do things online, when we can get enough together to afford the installation of the internet and afford the monthly payments.I noticed the $30 per year website is a fixed website, and products can't be changed on it, and the message can't be edited from time to time. We can't afford the other websites, so we're stuck with a dilemma. I also understand my current website will be taken off in the near future.
I know you have to cater to your larger accounts, but I feel as though you are tossing me aside. I'm not going to leave AMSOIL, but I feel somewhat betrayed.

Ok - both the old and new AMSOIL websites will never be picked up well by the search engines. Because they are subdomains - a copy of a copy all on the same domain. Sure it's OK for a place holder or if you have a site listed on your business card and customers need a place to go.
But the solution I have suggested many times in these newsletters is a Wordpress site. Other than basic yearly hosting fees it's essentially free and can out-perform all other websites. Especially for dominating search engine listings in your local area. The quicklinks in the above menu will direct you to a tutorial which will get you started - or just search youtube for any of many versions. It's best to create a website you have total control over and it works at the same time!
