Quality of Life Committee;
Car breaks are down due to 3 separate arrests and HPD is conducting car break operations on the overnight shift where there are the highest numbers of occurrences.
The "do not enter" signs at South Marshall and Case St have been replaced with brand new signs.
Numerous quality of life arrest have been made at 10 Marshall Street as well as panhandling arrests at the Farmington Avenue corridor.
"Apple Picking" (theft of iPhones by thieves on bicycles) is up several have been recovered by police due to Find My Phone app which is highly recommended.
Hartford has a new replacement for See Click Fix called Public Stuff and they recommend all concerned citizens download the free app.
Communications Committee;
Discussed and chose articles and columns for the current issue of News & Views
The committee discussed status of advertisements for News & Views in Hartford News.
AHNA Communications and Library Interactions; discussed how the committee and the Library could work together to improve awareness and coverage of activities. Will be working with Assistant Children's Librarian on a calendar of events and potential column of feedback from the kids involved in library programs.
