Canalway Partners is pleased to announce it has renewed its partnership with Fleet Feet Sports. Fleet Feet Sports is a running and fitness store with three locations in the Cleveland area; Northfield, Pepper Pike and Westlake. Their vision is to "provide the best support for everyone pursuing a healthier lifestyle, whether it is running to win or just walking the dog."
The partnership with Fleet Feet Sports is a great fit for the Towpath Trilogy Race Series said Kathy Cole, Program Director for the Towpath Trilogy. "Runners can register for the Trilogy races and pick up their packets at three area Fleet Feet stores, Fleet Feet will coordinate training and fun runs on the Towpath, and Trilogy runners will have access to Fleet Feet prizes and giveaways."
Fleet Feet's Jody Herzog explained the relationship this way: "Partnering with The Towpath Trilogy makes sense for Fleet Feet- the Towpath is a great resource for runners and the Trilogy helps to fund its expansion. On top of that the races are great, showing off different sections of the Towpath and offering race lengths for runners of all levels."
Fleet Feet Sports recently joined Hermes Sports & Events, who has provided timing on the Towpath Trilogy Race Series since 2006. Hermes also hosts events such as the St. Malachi Church Run and the Cleveland Corporate Challenge.
The Towpath Trilogy Race Series is a fundraiser for Canalway Partners, the nonprofit that develops the northern end of the
Ohio & Erie Canalway National Heritage Area. Canalway Partners is the chief fundraiser for the
Towpath Trail Greenway in Cleveland, taking the lead in strategic decision-making, grant writing, and community outreach.
