REDI Appreciates City Businesses
It's that time again!   Business Appreciation Week, officially proclaimed by the Mayor and Council as March 7-11,2016.
REDI is feverishly working to make this the best one yet.

We'll be visiting 50+  businesses over the week, with groups of "ambassadors" thanking these Rockville companies for doing business in our City and providing information and resources to them that they may not have known we offer.

Nexercise/Sworkit Wins Shark Tank   


While appearing on the ABC television show, Shark Tank,   R ockville based Nexercise, Inc. struck a deal with billionaire Mark Cuban for a $1.5 million investment  for 10% of their business with regard to their new mobile phone app, Sworkit.
Mori Awarded NASA Contract

NASA has awarded a contract to Rockville based MORI Associates, Inc. for IT and external communications services at the agency's Johnson Space Center in Houston, with a potential value of $300 million.

MWBC Hires Business Counselor
 
After searching for a full-time bilingual Business Counselor for the Rockville office, the Maryland Women's Business Center has hired  Martha Jimenez. A  native of Colombia with over 15 years of experience in business administration and five years as an independent international consultant for various companies in Latin America, Jimenez is fluent in English and Spanish. 

Her priority is to focus on her client's needs and provide innovative ideas that will help them become successful entrepreneurs.  Jimenez has a special interest in small business because it allows entrepreneurs to pursue their own passions and conquer professional challenges that will lead to success.
