About the Speaker: Pete Leckemby

Pete Leckemby is an Executive Coach, Speaker, Mentor and Trainer who brings leadership, imagination, thinking, and excellence into every interaction to help people improve their performance, clarify their vision and deliver results in every area of their lives.

His energy and passion for helping people become the best version of themselves shows in his speaking, coaching and mentorship programs. With his focus on reflective thinking, leadership skills, and productivity, Pete has helped large organizations and small businesses alike in improving their performance.

Pete has been a student of leadership for over 20 years and has led teams of as many as 250 and ran a retail business of nearly $60 million in sales. He has led in both business and volunteer organizations and has built his company from the ground up with the help of the many great mentors in his life.

He is also a certified coach, speaker and trainer with The John Maxwell Team and has the privilege to be mentored by John and his team directly and is certified by John Maxwell to teach and train his material.

Some of Pete’s clients include leaders from The Home Depot, Dish Network, Pepsi, Re/Max, Chick-Fil-A, Keller Williams, Bimbo Bakeries, Seacret Direct and Toastmasters; as well as dozens of entrepreneurs from a variety of industries including non-profits.

Pete began his journey into leadership when he was a senior in high school coaching little league baseball as an 18 year old. He says “I learned a great deal about leading and what it took to succeed during those years, and I have since invested many thousands of dollars in my own development and growth, including over $10k in the past year alone.”

Noting that he is being mentored and coached by some of the brightest entrepreneurial minds, coaches and thought leaders in the world, Pete has a strong passion to share that knowledge. By now he has invested thousands of hours in learning and applying the information into his life and is excited to share that with others. “My friend and mentor John C. Maxwell challenges us to be a river, not a reservoir.”
