Linda Watson,
President and CEO, Cap Metro
Linda joined Capital Metro as president and CEO in August 2010. She has more than 30 years of transportation leadership experience in Orlando, Corpus Christi and Fort Worth. Linda is a distinguished leader in the transit industry.
She was an honorary member of WTS - Heart of Texas Chapter in 2011 and elected Woman of the Year 2014.
Watson serves on the board of several organizations including:
• Texas Transportation Institute (TTI) Advisory Council
• Downtown Austin Alliance
• Innovation Corridor Board of Austin
• WTS HOT Chapter Advisory Board
In addition, she lectures at the LBJ Master’s Program in Executive Leadership and mentors students in that program
