It has been an exciting couple of weeks for the Midway, as the
Minnesota United Football Club unveiled the first renderings of the new Midway soccer stadium.

Tomorrow, the Saint Paul City Council is scheduled to take action on agreements that will make the soccer stadium possible. We would like a big turnout from the Midway community.
If you want to see this stadium happen, we need to show our support and tell the council members that we want them to approve the agreements.

March Membership Meeting
Shegitu Kebede: Journey from Refugee to Restaurateur
In 2006, Kebede was awarded the McKnight Foundation's Virginia McKnight Binger Human Service Award. In 2011, she was featured in the Minnesota History Center exhibit, "The Value of One Life."
She has written her powerful story in a 2011 book, "Visible Strengths, Hidden Scars."
Join us as she tells her story from living in a refugee camp in Kenya to owning a successful restaurant, Flamingo, on University Avenue.
