President's Message

Dear Coaches,

Cheers to the NYC Chapter members!  Membership is up to 600 strong!  And, congratulations to the 260 Chapter members who have earned an ICF credential.  Nice going!

It's ICF membership renewal season.  To continue your membership without interruption, renew before April 1, 2016.  Below are the steps to align your membership with the NYC Chapter:

  • Go to coachfederation.org to renew your ICF membership
  • Go to your member profile, edit chapter, and select NYC
  • That's it you're done! There's no NYC Chapter fee.  I like it!
Events

Thank you for supporting our events.  Your attendance and participation, and willingness to volunteer make this all possible. The energy you bring to the Chapter make it a welcoming and engaging place to be.

We'd also like to acknowledge our growing group of sponsors and advertisers. Their support as enabled us to offer amazing events! The March 10th panel event: Company-Wide Coaching: Executive Coaching Through an Organizational Lens is a great example.  Aiir Consulting and Partners International, both sponsors of the event, are making it possible for us to hold this event at a larger venue, and provide refreshments.

Thanks to John Schuster, PCC, who presented our February webinar on Depth Coaching and Lynn Meinke, PCC from ICF Philly who presented When and How to Refer a Coaching Client to a Mental Health Professional.  Every speaker who presents for us does so gratis.  This is very fortunate for us, and very much appreciated.

What's next?

On April 5th, Marion Franklin, MCC will present on Masterful Coaching Secrets That No One Tells You.  This will be an in-person event at the LHH's 230 Park Avenue offices.  And, save the date - on May 10th - join us for a double event - Dr. Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic, CEO of Hogan will join us and address our Chapter followed by an evening of conversation and cocktails at Coach Salon 2016.  More to come . . .

Have a great month, and hope to see you soon -

All the best,

Margaret
