Friday, October 4th, is the last day for your Wadsworth Farmers' Market, rain or shine. This is your chance to pick up those items you have been putting off, stock up till next summer, and say good-bye to your hard working vendors.
Home-baked mouth watering goodies are provided by:
Gimme Granola - made in Wadsworth.
Wild Flour - crunchy crisp yet soft breads and cookies.
Sweet Cup Cakes - by Brianna.
Whether we like it or not, winter weather is coming. You can be fashionable and warm with the hand-knitted & crocheted items from
Crafty Knotts.
Sew Moving brings quilting and other sewing supplies right to you.
You can support the critters with bird and bat houses, or just pick up some fun Team Spinners from
Yard Art by Dave.
Fresh kale, tomatoes, and other organically grown veggies are provided by
Town Line Organics.
Tomatoes, pac choy, black walnuts, sweet and hot peppers, cilantro, and lots of fresh dill for homemade pickles are all available at
Hope's Veggies. If you want to keep your dogs happy, be sure to bring them to the market to get their free sample of liver cookies.
The
Cub Scouts will be selling their popcorn in the shelter. Come and support our local boys.
And the
University of Illinois Master Gardeners will be on hand with advice on composting, mulching, fall clean up, and all sorts of other gardening questions.
Come to the market one last time. Encourage your vendors and persuade them to come back next year.
