2014 Wadsworth Area Queens Pageant- A Special Edition.
The 2014 queens of the Wadsworth area have been crowned and they are presented below. This is not simply a beauty pageant... it is much more.
The girls are judged on poise, talent, community service, and their philosophies on how to help their fellow human beings.
I used the word "girls" above. Yes, they start out the pageant year as girls but end up as young women, ready to give of themselves to people and organizations that they can help.
I have met them all and can honestly say that Wadsworth is enriched by their presence.
Congratulations, young ladies.
And a whole lot of thanks goes out to Angelique Marie and Sharon Bertrand, directors of the pageant. They invest hours and hours of time each year to help the girls become young women. Ladies, thank you. You are obviously good at what you do!
