Volunteer Spotlight: Susan Hall-Hardwick
Jericho Road Pasadena is an organization that helps people utilize their skills to make a difference with nonprofits.  In the case of Susan Hall-Hardwick and the YWCA of Pasadena, that connection was clearly a win-win for everyone involved.  Read more about Susan and the YWCA!
Volunteer Managers' Roundtable
The Volunteer Managers' Roundtable  is  November 12, 4 - 5:30 pm at Mothers' Club , 980 North Fair Oaks Avenue, Pasadena. We'll enjoy some holiday food, reflect on successes and challenges from 2015 and talk about how to set goals for 2016. Please RSVP via email to Melanie  so that we have enough food. Parking is available in the Mothers' Club lot (to the south of their building) or on the street, but please DO NOT park in the Jackie Robinson parking lot (between Mothers Club and the Jackie Robinson Center).

Leadership Connection
Jericho Road Pasadena's pilot Leadership Connection program in October was great! The Leadership Connection (TLC) was launched by our East Coast partners 5 years ago to train people to be good board members, thereby increasing the pool of knowledgeable and qualified board members ready to serve. Match-making between skilled v olunteers and nonprofits is our specialty, so now we'll expand that match-maker expertise to board members. Trainees participated in 8 hours of in-depth classes about how nonprofit boards work and what to expect as a board member. Many thanks to our great trainers, Mitch Dorger ( dorgerconsul ting.com ) and Judy Plunkett!
