Update on SAI's mobile technology summer program

Happening now in Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Bangalore, the program for undergraduate students explores the use of mobile technology to deliver services in the areas of education, health, agriculture, and banking. 

Call for applications: Program for Emerging Artists

Part of SAI's Arts Initiative, the program will host emerging artists from South Asia to come to Harvard and participate in discourse with students and faculty on critical issues.

Harvard For Nepal

Harvard For Nepal is SAI's university-wide initiative that aims to unite Harvard in response to the earthquake that devastated Nepal in April.


How you can help:
  • Contribute: The Nepal Research and Reconstruction Fund will provide support for projects in Nepal that are developed in partnership with local organizations, with a focus on Nepal's long-term reconstruction. 
  • Connect:  Our blog shares stories from Harvard affiliates working on the ground. Connect with us on Facebook and Twitter to stay updated.
  • Document: We are accepting submissions for an online photo exhibit documenting Nepal's recovery.

In this Mahindra Lecture from 2014,  Sir Fazle Hasan Abed, Founder and Chairperson of BRAC, reflected on the work of his organization,  the world's largest NGO dedicated to development and fighting poverty. Sir Abed was just  honored as the 2015 World Food Prize Laureate.
