Tickets Are On Sale for FC Night
at Angel Stadium
Fullerton College is partnering for the first time with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to bring a fun-filled night at the ballpark on April 9. Proceeds from the event will support the Chris Lamm & Toni DuBois-Walker Memorial Food Bank at Fullerton College, which provides critical support to students in need.

NOCCCD Counselors Share Ideas at District In-Service
Close to 100 counselors from all three schools of the North Orange County Community College District gathered at Fullerton College for the first District Counselor In-Service on Feb. 24. The full-day of activity included highlights from the three campuses, academic presentations, small group discussions, and created a forum for counselors to strengthen collegial relationships with one another.
Annual Women's Forum Recognizes Women in Business and Leadership
In honor of Women's History Month and International Women's Day, the Cadena Cultural Center at Fullerton College will host the sixth Annual Women's Forum on Monday, March 7 at 10:15 a.m. in Building 200, Room 212. Chino Hills City Council Member Cynthia Moran will discuss trends impacting women in leadership and business and her experiences as a community leader.

Tomato Plant Sale
The Horticulture Department is hosting its spring Tomato Plant sale this weekend. The sale includes nearly 8,000 plants of more than 120 varieties of tomatoes. The sale runs on Friday, March 4 and Saturday, March 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call the Horticulture Department at 714-992-7135,

Living with
Disabilities Conversation Circle
Disability Support Services and the Cadena Cultural Center are hosting Living with
Disabilities, a conversation circle on Tuesday, March 1 at 2 p.m. in Building 200, Room 229. The primary goal of the conversation circle is to foster a greater awareness, understanding, and appreciation for the diversity of our community through the lived experiences of one another. KinderCaminata Volunteers
More than 2,000 kindergartners, teachers and parents from Fullerton, La Habra, and Anaheim City school districts are planning to attend Fullerton College's 21st annual KinderCaminata event on Friday, April 8. The event needs at least 200 individual student, staff and faculty volunteers to help prepare materials beforehand and assist during the event. To volunteer for this event, go to the

Staff Development Workshops
Instructional technology and Blackboard drop-in support is available on March 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on March 3 from 3 to 5 p.m. in Lab 800D. On March 4, an introduction to reading reading apprenticeship is in Room 1246 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Speech Judges Needed
The Speech Department is recruiting faculty to serve as judges for the National Educational Debate Association (NEDA) tournament at Fullerton College on March 11 and 12. This year's tournament will feature the following resolution: "The United States federal government should significantly raise the minimum wage." Judges may serve for one or more rounds. Sodexo Food Services During Spring Break
Sodexo's food service operations in the Building 200 Food Court and Stinger's Café locations are closed during Spring Break from Monday, March 21 to Sunday, March 27. Sodexo will provide catering services for events held during the week of Spring Break.

Parade features music by Alfred Uhry and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown. It is co-conceived and directed on Broadway by Harold Prince and it's based on the true story of the trial and lynching of Leo Frank.
Parade is presented by special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
The Fullerton College Art Gallery's 2016 Artist in Residence exhibit featuring renowned artist Lesley Dill runs through April 4. Men's Basketball
In the first round of the Southern California Regionals, the Hornets avenged an early season loss and ended Cuesta College's season in the Hornets Nest on Friday by beating the Cougars 76-68. The win moves FC into the third round of the SoCal Regional Semi-Finals for the first time since the 2007-08 season. At halftime, the Athletic Department recognized the division secretaries Anita Ward and Linda Aponte for their combined 60 years of exceptional service.
Up Next: The Hornets (22-7 overall) will play at Chaffey College (22-6) in the SoCal Regional Semi-Finals on Wednesday, March 2 at 7 p.m.

Baseball
The Hornets hosted College of the Canyons on Saturday afternoon in a non-conference matchup and lost a close one to the Cougars 8-7. FC fought hard down to the last play of the game when Andrew Piraino tried to steal home on a wild pitch and was thrown out (2-1 put-out) to end the contest.
Up Next: The Hornets (9-2) will play at Mt. Sac on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
Softball
Down 4-1 heading into the bottom of the fifth, the FC softball team stunned Santiago Canyon College on Friday afternoon scoring four unanswered runs to win a tough Orange Empire Conference game 5-4. The win helps Fullerton to an overall record of 6-6 and an Orange Empire Conference record of 2-1. The SCC loss gives them their second on the season and their first in the OEC (11-2 overall, 3-1 OEC).
Up Next: The Hornets (6-6, 2-1) will host Citrus College today, Monday, Feb. 29 at 3 p.m. Come on out and support the team!
