Grandparents and Special Friends Day

Hundreds of grandparents and special friends visited the CCS campus on February 19 as guests of elementary students. Photos, classroom activities and a special chapel service filled the agenda as these special guests spent the morning with their loved ones.

The Next Step Fundraising Breakfast is just around the corner. The event showcases the mission of CCS while ensuring the sustainability of the school.

Brandon Vick Memorial Run-4-Fun: March 11


Join the fun for this year's event scheduled for Friday, March 11. Our goal is once again $50,000, but we are confident we can run right past it. These dollars will be used for various Warrior Fund projects that benefit the elementary school.

"Buddies" Make Reading Fun

Freshman and sophomore students enjoyed time with elementary "buddies" as younger students selected books and read them to the high schoolers. Reading Buddy Days take place several times over the course of the year, fostering a love of reading while building relationships between grade levels.  Click here for photo gallery.  
Biblical Values
Students Engage In Spiritual Emphasis Days
 
February 17 and 18 were designated as Spiritual Emphasis Days, time set aside for secondary students to focus on becoming more like Jesus and explore ways to live out their faith in all arenas of life. The theme of the two-day event was "Guarding Against Deception." Read more...
Cultural Impact
Spanish Students Serve at Hinojosa Center
CCS students in Spanish III, Spanish III Honors and Spanish AP classes recently visited the Hinojosa EC/PK Center in Aldine ISD - a Title 1 school serving more than 700 hundred students. Spanish III students wrote and illustrated books in Spanish and read to the little ones in the bilingual classrooms. Read more...

Choir Student Receives All-State Honor

Sophomore choir student Julia Williams performed as a member of the All-State Choir at the Texas Music Educators Convention in San Antonio, Texas. More than 1,700 band, orchestra and choir students are selected for the All-State honor through a process that begins with more than 60,000 students. Warrior Baseball Is Back In Action
 
The baseball program goal is to help players become great teammates and accountable young men. Warrior baseball is proud to create a competitive practice environment that emphasizes repetition of fundamental baseball skills. More importantly, "We are challenging our players to be R.E.A.L. men while serving our Lord, Jesus Christ," says head coach David Swan.
