U.S. Distribution Sales Team 

HPS' U.S. Distribution Sales team is finishing up another strong and successful year, posting an impressive 9% growth over a very strong fiscal year in 2012.

 

I'd like to offer my most sincere thank-you to everyone that has worked diligently to make this happen, as well as to our strategic distribution channel partners and customers.

 

Heading into 2014, with most of the growing pains associated with a new enterprise system behind us, the expectation and commitment that we continue to place on ourselves is to deliver unrivalled value, best-in-class service and the ease of doing business that has defined the HPS advantage.

Automation Fair Results 

In November, HPS attended Rockwell Automation's 2013 Automation Fair� event that took place in Houston, Texas. This event is an occasion to discover manufacturing solutions that will aid in refining business profitability.

 

At this year's event, HPS proudly highlighted two new product lines: the HPS Centurion R� and the HPS EnduraCoil™.  Read more

ELECRAMA-2014

HPS recently attended ELECRAMA-2014, the world's largest power transmission and distribution conference.

 

This exhibition welcomed thousands of participants from the electrical and industrial industries, and showcased the latest products for power transmission and distribution, lighting, conservation, and house and building automation.

 

ELECRAMA-2014 was the 11th international exhibition of the electrical and industrial electronics industry.

 

This exhibition took place from January 8 to 12 in Biec, Bangalore, India.

E-Quotes V2:  Continuing Upgrades  

On August 26, 2013, HPS introduced the new E-Quotes V2 system. In development for over a year, it had the undertaking of replacing the 12-year-old original system and linking to the new ERP program.

 

The original system's most significant weakness was that it was custom and could not be adapted to new technologies or new operating systems, as well as had no graphics capabilities. Read more

Line Reactor Launch

HPS is excited to announce the next phase in the product launch of our new line of reactors.

 

The Centurion� R received significant positive interest at the Rockwell Automation Fair� event in November of last year.  Read more

Calgary Flood

June 21st and 22nd will be long-remembered by Calgarians as an unprecedented disaster in the region.

 

Massive flooding brought the city of Calgary to a standstill and threatened the cancellation of the Calgary Stampede, a famous and cherished Canadian event.  Read more

Industry Data Warehouse

HPS is working to support the richly-populated, standardized product marketing content to our distributors through IDEA's Industry Data Warehouse (IDW). These part and price files will contain significantly more information than our current PIPE files, and will be used by our partners to build their web stores.

 

HPS has completed the first phase of uploading the priority SKUs. Full-scale rich attributes of other stock products will be available by the end of the first quarter in 2014.

 

Once the information is in IDW, HPS will work alongside our customers and representatives to set up our partners so they will be able to access and use IDW information.

SPS IPC Drives Show Results 
This past November, HPS attended the SPS IPC Drives Show that took place in Nuremberg, Germany.  
 
This event was a first for HPS in presenting its European subsidiaries, Euroelettro and Marnate, collectively as HPS Europe.  Read more
