HPS Launches New Cast Resin Transformer
HPS is excited to launch HPS EnduraCoil™, a new line of Cast Resin Transformers. The HPS EnduraCoil™ is designed and constructed to maximize the transformer's performance in harsh environments.
The HPS EnduraCoil™ is CSA certified and a complement to HPS' VPI offerings. It's suitable for the most challenging commercial and industrial applications, typically found in data centers and marine, petrochemical, and pulp and paper industries. Read more |

E-Quotes V2.0
In August, HPS launched the new and improved E-Quotes V2.0 system. This system acts as our main quotation tool and customer interface, and is a vital component to the success of our company and our partners alike. When HPS initially launched the original E-Quotes system in 1999, it was a time before smartphones, Facebook and tablets. While the program has had many valuable additions, it still relies on the same base-programming software. The original system has consistently remained a very popular tool and one of HPS' best differentiators, but as the times are changing, so must the system.

HPS Gets Ready for Exhibition in Germany
HPS is finalizing all plans for the 2013 SPS IPC Drives event, Europe's leading exhibition for electric automation technology. The exhibition will take place on November 26 to 28 in Nuremberg, Germany.
With the exhibition welcoming over 50,000 visitors in recent years, HPS is thrilled to be taking part in such a favourable and successful event as Booth #3-604. The SPS IPC Drives event provides in-depth information relating to products, innovations and current trends in the electric automation industry. Some of the sectors that can be expected in the event include control technology, drive systems and components, industrial software and communication, IPCs, sensor technology and more.
Among the attractions at the SPS IPC Drives event includes an exhibition forum and conference which allows and promotes discussion, questions and answers among the visitors and exhibitors.

HPS CEO Bill Hammond Awarded 2013 Golden Omega Award
HPS' Chairman and CEO, Bill Hammond, received the 2013 Golden Omega Award at the Electrical Insulation Conference Industry Awards Banquet this past June.
The Golden Omega Award is presented by the IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society and NEMA Insulation Materials Section on behalf of America's people of science and industry; and the users and producers of electrical/electronic materials, components, and equipment. The award is presented at the Electrical Insulation Conference to an outstanding person of science, engineering, education, or industry who has made important contributions to technological progress.

Solar Project on the Horizon
In September 2013, after nearly a year of intensive Sales and Engineering effort, HPS was awarded our first purchase order from a major manufacturer of solar ancillary support structures. Totalling in excess of $300,000, a secondary supplier was displaced and our position was solidified as a solution provider to the power conversation station (PCS) segment of the solar industry. HPS will be exhibiting at the Rockwell Automation 2013 Automation Fair� event this year on November 13 and 14. This is the third consecutive year that HPS has been an exhibitor at this event.
HPS is excited to be showcasing two new product lines at the event, the HPS Centurion R� reactors and the HPS EnduraCoil™ cast resin transformers.

HPS Proud to Participate in EFC Scholarship Program
The EFC Scholarship Program is intended to aid Canadian post-secondary students with financial assistance to help achieve their career goals. This scholarship program promotes careers for Canadian students in the electrical, electronics and telecommunications industries.
HPS contributed $3,500 to the EFC Scholarship Program for the "HPS Outstanding Electrical Scholar Award." This year's HPS award was presented to David Drake from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
