Qu'ran Academy

Alhamdulillah, this has been a great year for Qur'an Academy with close to 130 young and adult students benefiting from Sheikh Ismael Essa's knowledge and delivery of this important service to our community. We are truly blessed to have a program like Qur'an Academy offered at ISCJ.

 

Having just completed our 2016 summer camp and 2016/2017 school year program registration for current Qur'an Academy families, we have a limited number of spots available and would love to have you be part of the Qur'an Academy experience. We are dedicated to helping our community learn to recite and memorize the Qur'an for its many rewards, benefits and blessings. Among them:

1. Highest ranks of Jannah for the Memorizer of the Qur'an:   Abd-Allah ibn 'Amr narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "It will be said to the companion of the Qur'an: Recite and rise in status, recite as you used to recite in the world, for your status will be at the last verse that you recite."  Source: Al-Tirmidhi (2914) and Abu Dawood (1464)

2. The Highest Honor for the Parents of the Memorizer of the Qur'an:   It was narrated that Buraydah said: "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: 'Whoever reads the Qur'an, learns it and acts in accordance with it, on the Day of Resurrection his parents will be given a crown to wear whose light will be like the light of the sun, and his parents will be given garments which far surpass everything to be found in this world. They will say, "Why have we been this to wear?" It will be said, "Because your child learned the Qur'an."   Source: al-Haakim (1/756)

3. Reciters of the Qur'an will be with Noble Scribes, with a Double Reward:   Aisha reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The example of one who recites the Qur'an and memorizes it, is that of one with the 'righteous and noble scribes' (80:15), and the example of one who recites the Qur'an and he is committed to it and it is very difficult for him is that of one who receives a double reward."  Source: Sahih Bukhari 4653, Sahih Muslim 798
