The Latino community is becoming increasingly important to the economy, culture, and politics of the United States. Today, more than 55 million people-almost one-fifth of the U.S. population-are Hispanic, two-thirds of whom are of Mexican origin.1 Latinos in the United States are reaching new heights in educational attainment, making significant economic gains, and dramatically changing the political
landscape. Within the next two decades, these developments will have profound implications for the United States, Mexico, and the rest of the Americas.
Commonwealth Fund Interactive Tool Compares Oklahoma Health Outcomes in Infographics
The Commonwealth Fund's Scorecard on State Health System Performance, 2015, assessed states on 42 indicators of health care access, quality, costs, and outcomes. Use this interactive tool to see the gains that your state could achieve by improving its performance to the level of better-performing states, as well as the losses that would result if your state failed to sustain its performance.
