Outreach to Blue Springs Children

The Resurrection Outreach Committee is leading an effort to deliver sack lunches to children who live at the Autumn Place Apartments weekdays in July.  If you are interested in helping with this effort, please call Pat Carle at 228-5312.    T he estimated time involved for each volunteer is one hour per week for 4 weeks

Finding Faith through Fiction book club meets Monday, June 6
Life of Pi

The next book club meeting will be on Monday, June 6 at 7:00 pm to discuss the book "The Life of Pi" by Yann Martel.   The club will not meet in July.

The August 1st meeting discussion will be about "The Screwtape Letters" by C. S. Lewis.   Everyone is welcome to attend!  Contact Jan Brill for more information.

Necessity Pantry needs your help
Toothbrush and toothpaste

Even though its several weeks until our next Necessity Pantry in-gathering, the pantry needs your help to satisfy the great demand for assistance.  Special needs include  toothpaste, toothbrushes, bar soap, size 4 & 5 diapers, s/m/l Depends, cereals and canned food (especially corn and soups.)  Cash contributions are also gratefully accepted.

Catch the Wave of God's Amazing Love:
VBS June 20-24, 9 am to Noon
Surf Shack

Episcopal churches in Eastern Jackson County are once again joining together for Vacation Bible School June 20 - 24 from 9 am to Noon daily.  VBS is open to youth ages 3 years through 5th grade.  

This year's theme is "Surf Shack", where participants can catch the wave of God's amazing love.  Remembering that the Lord is great and awesome, participants will enjoy engaging in fun activities, music and stories that are sure to wet the interest of all who come to learn and experience God in new and fun ways.

Registration forms are located by the Sunday School room and completed forms should be returned to the Church office.  Please let us know if you need transportation.
