The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published the proposed Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements rule in the Federal Register on September 25, 2015. The proposed rule will update the existing hazardous waste generator regulations, making them easier to understand, providing greater flexibility in hazardous waste management, and tightening regulations that are considered by many professionals in the industry to be incomplete or ambiguous.

Kentucky Air & Waste Management Association One-Day Environmental Practitioner's Workshop
The Kentucky Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association is sponsoring a One-Day Environmental Practitioner's Workshop (good for 6 PDH's) to be held Wednesday, April 20, in Florence, KY. This workshop begins with a pair of keynote speakers on evolving energy policy, has an entertaining and engaging lunch speaker, and will offer attendees their choice of technical breakout sessions in each of AIR, WATER, WASTE, and HAZMAT management.
