Spotlight Story
My name is Ken Brands and I own "Clear Boundaries with Dog Guard".  I opened my business on September 14th, 2013 in Dickson, Tennessee.  Dickson is the population center in my territory that goes from Montgomery County to Maury County and Williamson County to Benton County.  The strategic choice has worked out better than expected.  The welcome I have received and the friends I have made in Dickson from both businesses and residents exceeds anything I could have imagined.

Prior to opening Clear Boundaries, the real start to my career was in 1977 when I joined the US Air Force.  I was a weapons instructor for all of my 22 year career.  I have trained new troops in "Basic Training" to a couple of Lieutenant Generals (3 Star).  After I retired in 1999 I received a scholarship through the Veterans Administration and I graduated from "Maine Maritime Academy" in 2005.  Most of my time working on boats was based in Houston Texas, pushing barges for Kirby Inland Marine.  I grew tired of being gone all the time and left working on the water in 2011.
In 2013 I moved to Clarksville, Tennessee and began the search for either a job or a business.  A friend mentioned he no longer had a "Dog Guard" dealer in his area and I started the research.  First I learned that Dog Guard manufactures high quality pet containment equipment that is sold through a network of independent dealers.  The second thing I learned is that Dog Guard equipment is "Made in America", which means a lot to most, but to members of the military, it means much more.  Being made in America its self does not mean quality, however all Dog Guard equipment comes with only one warranty, "Lifetime".  If a customer moves, the warranty moves with them.

Having a great product is half the battle, the other half is employing that equipment in a user friendly way that is cost effective and dependable.  In the majority of the fences I install, the pets have access to more than 90% of the homeowner yard, unless, for personal reasons they want a smaller area.  Dependability comes from understanding how the equipment works and using the best materials possible for installation.  There is no other pet fence company in Middle Tennessee that uses a wire equal to what Clear Boundaries uses.  Training your pets to the fence is also a key part of the product.  Most dogs are enjoying free time out in the yard without supervision in 12 to 15 days.  The training is a team effort between the pet owner and Clear Boundaries.  I take a slightly slower approach than many, but I have wonderful results with much less fear and stress on the part of the pet.
Every fence I sell comes with a 90 Day Pet Containment Guarantee from Clear Boundaries.  If you are not completely satisfied, you get 100% of your money back.

If your only reason for getting a fence is to keep your pet safe in your yard there is nothing better than a fence from Clear Boundaries with Dog Guard.  The average price for a fence up to one acre for one dog is on average 40% to 75% less than the cost of a traditional fence in just your backyard (depending on the type of fence you buy).  A fence is only guaranteed to be a fence, pets jump over, dig under and gates get left open.

Dickson County Tennessee Smoke Fest 2016
On October 28th and 29th, 2016, join the Dickson County Chamber of Commerce and the Dickson County Fair Association for Dickson County's first annual Dickson County SMOKE FEST at the Dickson County Fairgrounds. This is your opportunity to be a part of an event Tennessee's Governor Bill Haslam and the Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS) have declared a nationally sanctioned barbecue competition! In addition to BBQ, festivities include a Backyard cook-off, Kids Q cook-off, Kids Spooky Power Wheels Derby, Costume Contests, Spooky themed Demolition Derby, and many other activities throughout the event such as apple bobbing and pumpkin carving contest. There will be food and arts & crafts vendors, kid's zone, and much more. We anticipate this event will draw a great local crowd and attract visitors to our area. Sponsorship of SMOKE FEST will provide excellent advertising opportunity for your business.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor with the opportunity to expose your business with KCBS worldwide, please contact Rhonda Adams or Joey Graves (615) 446-2349. Deadline for all sponsorship is July 1, however, sign up now and your sponsorship would equate to almost seven months of exposure for your company/business. You may also click here to download a registration form.
