Scout News: March 17  
Camp Card Reminder: *This* Saturday, March 19 we will be distributing camp cards at McDonalds 2701 E. Carson St. Join us from 9-11am. Breakfast served with OJ and coffee. This is a great opportunity to raise funds for camp, equipment, weekend adventures, and more.

In 2015, exactly 80,716 Scouts earned the First Aid merit badge. Aside from those Eagle required, Fingerprinting, Rifle Shooting, Archery, and Leatherwork were at the top! Most rare? Bugling, Stamp Collecting, Journalism, among others.

Saturday, June 4 - Cross a rope bridge, crawl through a maze, show off your unit's best activity. Scout-O-Rama, the biggest showcase of the year is open to the public. Family fun for all ages. Theme 2016: Celebrating the Diversity within Scouting. Booth RSVP coming soon. 

Saturday, April 16 - Only four weeks away! The Championships are coming. Check to see if your Pack winners are listed here. If not, please email names to John McIntosh. We will crown the 2nd Annual Council Derby Champ! Read requirements here.

June 10-11-12 - Help us get Camp Tahquitz ready for another great summer camping season! Even (or especially) if your unit is not attending Tahquitz this summer, this is a neat opportunity to see what's new at camp and to support the council's crown jewel.

Parents, here's your opportunity to make your own car. Enter our Outlaw Race. See instructions here. Build a high-powered machine! Let's see how fancy you can be. Get out the wind-tunnels and rocket engines to make your car the fastest outlaw.

April 15-17- Master the basic skills Boy Scouts are required to learn from Tenderfoot to First Class. Learn by doing in a fun, wilderness setting. IOLS info here.
April 23 - BALOO helps adults carry out successful camping experience with Scouts. Required for at least one adult in every Cub Scout pack on each overnighter.
