Get your spring on at the last market of the winter season in Hollywood. There is much to celebrate, and even more to eat! It's time for colorful radishes, zippy greens, tender brassica raabs, and eggs of all shades and sizes.
Rejoice and brighten someone's day, because
Herr Family Farm is returning to market this Saturday with buckets of beautiful fresh cut blooms.
Dancing Light Ranch is also returning, with lavender delights for the home, body and kitchen.
Fraga Farmstead Creamery is back after a week away, and will have their full spread of artisan goat cheeses.
It's the last market (as least for a little) for He Sells These Shells, La Fountain Herbal, and The Hummus Stop, so make sure to show your support and pick up your favorites from each.
Make sure to make the trip on two wheels this Saturday, because we will have Bikes for Humanity at market offering free bicycle repairs and safety checks for the community. We are excited to have them on board, and working toward having them as a regular presence this season.
Are you searching for new ideas on how to prepare your farmers market bounty? Or do you have a stack of long forgotten cooking magazines or cookbooks? Lucky for you our dear Ramona of Nourishment is piloting a HFM Cookbook & Recipe Community Library, and there you can both borrow a cookbook or recipe for finding inspiration, or you likewise you can leave some you may have for others to find.
All these great vendors and more will be joining us Saturday from 9am-1pm, and you should too.
