NCCU's Zipcar Is Here!

Having a car on campus just got a whole lot easier for students attending NCC U. Zipcar, the world's leading car-sharing service, is now here. North Carolina Central University
introduced the innovative Zipcar to students so they can utilize having wheels with no strings attached. With Zipcar, members can reserve self-service, on-demand cars by the hour or day, 24/7. Any student 18 or older can become a member for only $15 and get $25 in complimentary driving to give it a try.  Once a member,  reservations can be made online or by phone for as short as an hour or as long as 7 days.

With Zipcar parked right on campus, it's easy to get off campus and get downtown, run errands, or even take a road trip. And since Zipcar covers gas, insurance, and 180 miles per day, students can enjoy the freedom of the open road without any of the extra costs.

I Love My 1910

North Carolina Central University Student Government Association (SGA) kicked off a new student-centered giving initiative that challenges all students to donate to their university. The "I Love My 1910" initiative provides NCCU students an opportunity to impact their institution in more ways than one.  Established by the Student Government Association, the I Love My 1910 is challenging students to not only donate to their institution but to explain why they enjoy attending NCCU.

Some students have even went on to showcase their Eagle Pride online by creating hashtags on social media accounts like Twitter and Instagram telling others how Central has changed them for the better. With the "I Love My 1910" initiative students have the choice to donate to any department on campus that they choose. Join us as we continue to enhance academic excellence, preserve our legacy of truth and service, and make a direct impact on our home, North Carolina Central University.  To support Eagles and the campaign, learn more about ways to give.
