MI-CAPP: Michigan College Access Programs & Professionals
This is a follow-up to the previous email requesting information. Thank you to all of you who have already submitted the requested documents. Please note that we added an additional line item in the profile, "District(s) your students are from." We understand that quite a few institutions serve students outside of their institution's district, so we would like to make note of all districts that are benefiting from your work to generate a more accurate map of serviced communities.

REQUEST FOR PROGRAM INFORMATION

Hello Fellow TRiO Directors,

It's time again to prepare for the COE Policy Seminar in March. Last year, we created a booklet to use when presenting to key players to help advocate for TRiO programs. This year, we hope to improve upon what we've created so the booklet can be a more useful tool.

We are requesting that each institution's project(s) submit a profile that specifically addresses the goals of your program type according to TRiO. For example, the goal of a UB program is to "increase the rate at which participants complete secondary education and enroll in and graduate from institutions of post-secondary education." A UB project would provide stats on high school graduation, college enrollment and college graduation as it aligns with a UB Annual Performance Report (APR) objectives.

A template for UB projects can be found here:
UB Program Profile Template. Looking forward to a successful and productive time on The Hill with all who will be attending.

Thank you for all you do!
