I have been drawing, painting and sculpting for as long as I can remember. Art and those acts of creativity whom I hold in high esteem and the act of making my own has been such a central part of my life, defining not only the quality of my living standards but my experiences and even my friends.
I believe I can accurately be defined as a fantasy artist though many of my commissions are more contemporary, and though I am not for the most part traditionally trained. My experience and what training I've had, has a mostly a very technical nature with a history in 3D animation & fine illustration.
Most of my own work and experience is self taught and stands on it's own. My genre of choice tends to fantasy and intricate science fiction or steam punk, with a history of emphases on the female form.
Currently, I run a small studio in Norman, Oklahoma as the creative lead to a small group of digital sculptors handling projects for various clients from all over from small game companies & animation studios to larger companies and film industry contracts.
Holding in particular interest: reading, traveling, cooking, good pubs and anything hi-tech or of scientific nature. Alain lives in Oklahoma City with his wife, children a cat and two dogs with a penchant for pecans and bloody meat.
