Wineries are Magical
First Pot Luck of the Year!
It was pointed out to me that since Cindy got her new job there have been less pot lucks here at the winery. There is a simple answer to that true observation. Her new job enables us to eat regular meals on our own without having to rely on pot lucks. Then there was a cleansing diet she had me on that was a complete disaster more ways than one. However, we are semi clean now and it is time for our first pot luck. It will be Saturday January 23 starting at 6pm. We will have frozen pork tenderloin available if anyone shows up.  Hope to see you then.
Yoga and a Wine Chaser!
We sold out the last yoga class! Don't delay reserve a spot for the next class on Saturday, February 20th at 12:30 p.m. Katie Gilbert, a RYT-200 certified yoga instructor, will take beginners and intermediates through 60 minutes of vinyasa flow. Focusing on breathing, staying present and stretching your body and mind. You will walk away with a sense of peace and relaxation and ready for a glass of wine! Bring your own mat, an open mind, and a thirst for wine.
$15 fee includes 60-minute yoga class and a glass of wine.
Limited space available. Please email your reservation to [email protected]  and put Yoga in the subject line. Please pay at the door.
Now on Winter Hours?
Jim's mood and the weather is changing. The winery is now operating under winter hours. Technically that means we are not open on Thursdays. However, if you are in the area call or stop in to see if he is hard at work and in need of a wine break.

Otherwise we will be open Fridays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Always keep in mind if weather is really bad call to make sure the driveway is plowed. If you have an all-wheel-drive vehicle, there is never a problem. However, some two-wheel-drive vehicles can find the driveway a challenge in the snow and ice! Park at the top and we will come and get you. Unless you have an overnight bag and don't mind sharing a bed with Jim and Cindy. (This option only applies to non-snorers.)
"Night Before Christmas" Back by Popular Demand!
Because of all the fun comments we have included this once again for the enjoyment of our wine friends, the Sand Hollow Winery version of the Night Before Christmas as crafted by Mrs. Claus aka Cindy Young.

Twas the night before Christmas,
When all through the Hollow
Not a wine glass was stirring, not even one swallow!
The bottles were stacked on the wood racks with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
Suspended "Girls Night Out" On Last Wednesday's
Unfortunately we will be cancelling the always popular Girls Night Out event until better weather. See you in the spring, unless Jim gets a new pair of shoes and a man bag to show off!
