On Saturday, four highly competitive boy's games will take place at Christ the King Regional High School as the 2nd annual Apparel Challenge takes place. Two of the more intriguing matchup are Cardozo vs L.I. Lutheran and in the finale, Christ the King vs Thomas Jefferson. Here are previews of each game.

  CONEY ISLAND, NY - Abraham Lincoln was on the court warming up. The Junior Varsity game had just ended and the Varsity was on the court getting ready to play Jefferson. The gym was packed. Spectators had paid a premium price for a high school basketball game. There was a buzz in the crowd.

OAKLAND GARDENS, NY - The Cardozo Judges have their sights set on Saturday's confrontation against L.I. Lutheran at the Apparel Challenge but did not overlook league business. On Thursday, the Judges prepped for the upcoming tournament by dispatching its PSAL AA rival, HS for Construction.

The Red Hawks jumped out in front 5-0 early as  Wes Nelson, Jr. '16 and  Joe Nicholas'16  scored but a dunk by  Tareq Coburn '16 shifted the momentum in Cardozo's favor.
