It never fails. Every time I go to the grocery store I ask my Hubby what he wants me to get. The answer is always, "Get me something good." Needless to say, when I laid my eyes on these sweet little gems, I knew I had "something good." On the way home my mind was coming up with all sorts of fillings for those little bad boys. Here is one of my recipes, but let me tell you don't hesitate to look in your refrigerator and pull from there because I don't know how you can go wrong! Just keep it a little spicy by adding our Candied Jalapeños or Candied Habaneros to your filling! 

Here are a few suggestions to try:

Bacon Poppers - bacon, cream cheese, garlic, green onion, Candied Jalape ños,  panko breadcrumbs 

Fiesta - taco meat, cheddar cheese, Candied Jalape ños, black olives, lime juice, cilantro

Pizza Poppers - pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, Candied Jalape ños

You can prepare the filling in advance and then stuff and bake the day of your event. These are terrific hot out of the oven, but they also taste great as they cool.

These stuffed mini sweet peppers would make the perfect appetizer for a Super Bowl party, or any other party for that matter.

Or for a midnight snack. Or a morning snack.
