P2:  Portrait of a Graduate 
Join us for the Parents in Partnership series - a presentation of Evansville Day School's    Portrait of a Graduate.

Families will meet with Head of School, Jarin Jaffee, teachers, and parents, for a brief presentation about our vision for the Day School curriculum and student experience. 

Session Times: 6  - 7 pm 
in the Sieboldt iLab

  • Primary School - February 8 & 10
Dinner will be provided and childcare is available for Preschool and Primary School sessions.

Outstanding Educators Nominations Underway
The Outstanding Educators of the Year award acknowledges the dedication and contributions of Vanderburgh County educators by recognizing four educators who excel within their profession.
Every year one educator in each of the following categories is named Outstanding Educator of the Year:
* Elementary School Teacher (K-5)
* Middle School Teacher (6-8)
* High School Teacher (9-12)
* Building Principal
Who is Eligible
Vanderburgh county teachers and building principals employed by a recognized school organization are eligible. Nominees must be current full-time classroom teachers or building principals, grades K-12, who have completed at least three full years of service.
Winners Receive
* A cash award of $1,000
* Recognition at the Outstanding Educators of the Year awards banquet to be held April 29, 2016, at the University of Evansville.

Box Tops for Education
Collecting BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION, sponsored by General Mills, is a great way to ad d much-appreciated funds to the Music & Creative Dramatics program! "Thank you" to all who collected box tops in the fall semester. Each box top was worth 10 cents for a total of $224.60!

Please clip and save box tops for the spring semester! The front office has special sheets for attaching the box tops, for easy organization.

Spring semester box tops must be turned in by March 1. A check for spring earnings will be sent to EDS in May.

Yearbooks Available to Order
If you didn't order a yearbook on this year's contract, February 10 is the last day to reserve a copy ($65). If you'd like to order a book or an additional book ($65),  request your name be embossed on the cover of your book ($5.00)  or have the book mailed to your home ($6.00), fill out this form, make your check payable to EDS Landmark and leave it in the office for Ms. LaGrange.    If you're not sure if you've order or not, email mlagrange@evansvilledayschool.org and she'll check the records. Don't miss getting the 2016 Landmark "Remember the Eagles."

Go Platinum!
Mark your calendar as we celebrate 70 years of educational excellence at the Platinum Ball!  This year's event is sponsored by Legence Bank and will be held at The Old Post Office Event Center. February 3 is the Global Day of Play!
Students may bring anything they wish to play with to school on Wednesday, February 3rd. The only restrictions: they must bring toys and these toys may NOT require batteries or electricity. No devices.

The upcoming varsity boys' basketball home games will be theme nights!  C'mon out and support the Eagles!
