 Solutions for women's empowerment
From January 28 to 30, SAI and the Tata Trusts hosted a capacity building workshop in Mumbai with 50 organizations that do groundbreaking work on issues like improving access to secondary education for young girls, addressing gender-based violence, and economic empowerment through home-based industries.

 "It's time to raise our voices"
On February 3, SAI hosted a discussion on the issues surrounding the suicide of
Rohith Vemula, and to express solidarity with student and faculty protesters at Hyderabad University. Panelists discussed the need for a widespread conversation among the Indian diaspora about caste issues and the role of higher education institutions.
