As you know, we are already back to work on securing funding for the  Healthy Food Financing Initiative (HFFI) in the 2016 legislative session.

We have been meeting with members of the House Ways and Means Committee regarding funding for the HFFI, and have had constructive conversations and positive responses from legislators. It is important that legislators across the state know this issue is important to their constituents and the communities they represent, and you can help us deliver this message.

The full Ways and Means Committee will meet on Monday, February 22 to begin debating the budget bill so we are asking you to contact  your legislator if they serve on the Ways and Means Committee and ask for their support for this funding request. The full House will debate the budget beginning on Monday, March 21.
