In the coming months we will share stories of PANDAS and PANS families who are taking action on simple ideas and making a HUGE impact for our community.
Kirk Lord, along with the help and support of his Mom Tricia and Dad Duncan, decided to use his pogoing talent to raise money and awareness for PANDAS and PANS.
The idea was simple, Pogo for PANDAS....
ALL THE WAY across the Golden Gate Bridge. On February 28th this fourth grader put his idea into action. In 35 minutes he bounced ----- his way to improved awareness, raising over $6,200 with 4000 bounces!
To complement his event, he created a t-shirt and passed out postcards that clearly communicated the signs and symptoms of PANDAS and PANS.
Kirk Lord is accepting donations to the end of April. Here is the
link to his FirstGiving Page.
