Simple Events Amazing Results

In the coming months we will share stories of PANDAS and PANS families who are taking action on simple ideas and making a HUGE impact for our community.
Kirk Lord, along with the help and support of his Mom Tricia and Dad Duncan, decided to use his pogoing talent to raise money and awareness for PANDAS and PANS.
The idea was simple, Pogo for PANDAS....
ALL THE WAY across the Golden Gate Bridge.  On February 28th this fourth grader put his idea into action.  In 35 minutes he bounced ----- his way to improved awareness, raising over $6,200 with 4000 bounces!
To complement his event, he created a t-shirt and passed out postcards that clearly communicated the signs and symptoms of PANDAS and PANS.

Kirk Lord is accepting donations to the end of April. Here is the link to his FirstGiving Page.

Watch the video here of Kirk jumping across the Golden Gate Bridge.

International Conference Partnership a Big Success!

The September 2015 conference in Lake Como Italy was attended by over 300 guests and physicians.  The conference included never before heard lectures and candid comments about treatment successes and failures.  You will find the full content of the  lectures by Drs. Susan Swedo, Madeleine Cunningham, James Leckman (Yale, Tourettes-OCD expert), Elizabeth Latimer, and former Ex. Dir. Diana Pohlman here

Italy continues to be the most progressive country in the world, thanks to parents like Loretta Falcone, PhD, and Guiliana Galardini of PANDAS Italia who have planned several Italian events.

The neurology and pediatrics communities are increasingly ----- open to PANDAS/PANS.  Over the weekend of February 14th, a meeting was held for new physicians to learn about PANDAS from Dr. Agalliu Skyping and his research at Columbia.  His work was highlighted and applauded by the 50+ doctors attending.

WAY TO GO ITALY!!
