Join the Blue Springs community next Wednesday, March 16 at 6:00 pm for a light dinner followed
 by a short Lenten service at 6:40 pm.
 
 The service will be at Good Shepherd Christian Church, 111 SW Woods Chapel Rd, Blue Springs.  Pastor Brad Bray of All Saints Lutheran Church will be preaching.

Incredible thanks to everyone who participated in making the Ecumenical Lenten dinner and service at Resurrection this week such a huge success.  We received many, many accolades and thanks for the evening.  Thank you!

Bring your friends and family to Resurrection's monthly game night, to be held in the undercroft on Friday, March 18 beginning at 6:30.  Bring your own drink and some snacks or treats to share!

Join us tomorrow beginning at 11:30 am with the praying of the rosary followed by Stations of the Cross at noon.   Please bring your rosary if you have one (a few will be provided.)

Annual St. Patrick's Day Dinner Saturday, March 19

Our annual St. Patrick's Day Dinner will be held on Saturday, March 19th beginning at 6 pm.  Have a traditional Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage, Irish potatoes, carrots, salad, rolls, dessert and beverage. Please sign-up at the Church or RSVP to Ernie or Diane Gerlach.
 
Cost is $10/person ($5 for children/under 5 free) with proceeds to benefit the Resurrection Building Fund.  (Non-Irish and kids can enjoy some hotdogs and chips!)

Necessity Pantry Needs for March
Pantry

The Necessity Pantry gratefully accepts all contributions!  Specific needs for March include Sizes 4 and 5 diapers, deodorant for both men and women, canned tuna and soups, women's Depends (S/M), toothbrushes and toothpaste.  Cash donations go a long way to help the pantry as well.  The Necessity Pantry is a joint outreach ministry of the Episcopal churches in eastern Jackson County.

Finding Faith Through Fiction Book Club
Book Club

FINDING FAITH THROUGH FICTION Book Club will hold its first meeting on April 4th at 6:00 pm in the undercroft.  We will be discussing "At Home in Mitford" by Jan Karon.  The Mid-Continent Public Library has 20+ copies in various forms available.
