Hello Everyone!  It's been a while since you heard from us, but we have some exciting news!  We're ramping up our efforts to educate the region on Indy Connect and proposed improvements to transit, especially the Marion County Transit Plan (the first step toward implementing regional transit). T he Marion County Transit Plan
The Marion County Transit Plan is the first step in the implementing Indy Connect, the multi-county, long-range transportation vision for Central Indiana.
 
Based on years of planning and public feedback, the Marion County Transit Plan is a detailed investment plan that will provide a 70% increase in IndyGo's service, resulting in:
  • Shorter waits
  • Longer hours
  • More weekend service for most of Indianapolis
  • Three rapid transit lines (Red, Blue and Purple) along high ridership corridors

Red Line Recommended for 2017 FTA Small Starts Grant!
The US Federal Transit Administration recently announced that the Red Line Phase 1 project has been recommended for 2017 Small Starts funding!  This is an exciting first step toward implementing the Indy Connect Central Indiana Transit Plan!
