Just a quick notice that I'm excited to be playing again with
The Roots (including
Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson - drums;
Mark Kelley - bass;
Captain Kirk Douglas - guitar;
Ray Angry - organ,
Bilal - vocals; and myself - piano) as part of "
Imagine: John Lennon 75th Birthday Concert", this
Sat. Dec. 5th at
7:30 pm at (doors open at 6:30 pm), a the
Theater at Madison Square Garden. The concert will also be taped for broadcast on
AMC on Sat. Dec. 19th at 9 pm ET/PT.
