Rutgers' New AD Hobbs Dives Into Coaching Search  
Former Seton Hall University Law School Dean and Athletic Director Patrick Hobbs is Rutgers' new director of athletics, having been tapped by Rutgers President Bob Barchi to lead Rutgers' continued adaptation to life in the Big 10. RU Engineering Student's 3-D Robo-Hand Changes Girl's Life

Katherine Lau, a junior biomedical engineering major in the Douglass Residential College, got the chance this summer to do something few undergraduates have done: lead a team that created a prosthesis for a 4-year-old girl born with barely developed fingers on her right hand, a birth defect marked by incomplete development of hand and chest muscles typically on a person's right side. Lau's team used 3D printing to make the fingers and mechanical linkages for the girl's prosthetic hand. Watch more here.

The No. 9 Rutgers women's soccer embarks on its first NCAA College Cup trip this weekend in Cary, N.C. The Scarlet Knights face the No. 6-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions for the third time this season at 5 p.m. this evening, Friday, Dec. 4.
