Join Us This Shabbat!
This Shabbat we celebrate Emily Teitelbaum, daughter of Howard and Stephanie Teitelbaum, becoming a Bat Mitzvah.

Emily Teitelbaum is a 7th Grader at the Martin J. Gottlieb Day School, where her favorite subject in school is Language Arts because of her mom. Emily's mom is the Middle School Language Arts teacher at the Martin J. Gottlieb Day School. For her Bat Mitzvah project, Emily chose Play It Forward because she really like sports and children.  Play It Forward donates used sports equipment to children in need. Emily loves to play soccer, spend time with friends and family and go shopping. Emily is an active member of Setzer Youth Education's Kadima group, attends Camp Ramah and has been a part at the Galinsky Academy since she was one year old.

MERCAZ USA is proud to join again this year in the annual Purim Connection of the American Zionist Movement.  In our special MERCAZ/ AZM campaign, we are raising funds to purchase and provide mishloach manot baskets for two worthy groups of individuals:  Border Police and Soldiers protecting Jerusalem during this current wave of attacks and the children living in the south including those in Ashkelon who are associated with our Masorti congregation Netzach Israel and at the Masorti-affiliated Neve Hanna Children's Village in Kiryat Gat.  Please know that the latter part of the campaign is being conducted in the memory of Marty Davis, our longtime friend from the World Zionist Organization who was one of the staunch supporters of the Masorti congregation in Ashkelon.  Click HERE to read more from MERCAZ about this campaign. Click HERE to visit the AZM website to learn more about the mishloach manot project. Click HERE to place your order of mishloach manot in support of this MERCAZ/AZM Campaign.
