Summer Camp Registration Open

Christ Church Cathedral offers summer camps for children that bring a new depth to other offerings in the region. During the choir camp,  children sing, play instruments, create art, play games, enjoy good meals and explore Christian faith. The art camp explores the ways art and the sacred  meet through the creation of that art. Each week-long camp is led by professional musicians and artists who are passionate about sharing their knowledge, inspiration and spirituality with young people. And each is built upon the same principles: to use the sacred space of the cathedral to nurture both the faith and the artistic development of children.

These vibrant summer programs provide children from the cathedral congregation, the diocesan parishes and the community beyond an opportunity to come and enjoy an experience that intentionally and openly encourages them to awaken to their own inner  spirituality, no matter what their beliefs. Choir Camp: Monday through Friday, July 18 - 22, 2016, and Art Camp: Monday through Friday, July 25-29, 2016. For 2016 Fees, Schedule and Registration, go here.

We also maintain a roster of substitute choristers. Choristers sing at weekly Sunday morning services, monthly Evensong services and other major liturgical observances in the church year. Those interested in auditioning should complete an information sheet,  chant Psalm 100 and prepare Victoria's Vere languores nostros. Please refer to the audition requirements for additional requirements. For more information, contact  St ephan Casurella , and check out more information here .

Aging with Spirit:
Spiritual Nourishment for Women
June 29

We navigate so many transitions in our lifetime-small ones and large, simple and complex, blessings and challenges. How do we continue to nourish ourselves spiritually as we change and grow over time? Join Liz Tassone and Joyce Keeshin, spiritual directors at the Cathedral Center for Spirituality, for an afternoon of reflection and reimagining our spiritual journeys. We'll begin by looking at our lives as they are today, recognize the wisdom we've been given, and consider any ways of doing and being that no longer seem to "fit". With this perspective, we'll explore possibilities  and resources for meaningful and timely spiritual nourishment. A light lunch will be provided. RSVP required. $10 donation suggested. Please call the church office at 513-621-1817 to register or email Canon Sherilyn Pearce. There will also be a sign-up sheet at the front desk for your convenience. Join us  for this offering on Wednesday, June 29, from 12- 3:00 pm.
