Tennessee is a beautiful state with an abundance of things to do, places to see, and history to experience. Communities that promote tourism in their areas reap the benefits through support of local businesses. Tourists want to eat at one-of-a-kind restaurants, shop in unique stores and maybe try a sweet treat that is only concocted in one place on Earth. They want to experience the culture, atmosphere, and uniqueness of that town.

Out on the Farm
Lairdland Farm House, located in Cornersville, is a museum that hosts historical events throughout the year.
Granddaddy's Farm in Estill Springs is packed full of fun activities for the whole family including a corn maze, pig races, hay rides and much more from September through November!
Ledford Mill Bed & Breakfast in Wartrace boasts a beautifully rustic setting complete with its own waterfalls and antique furniture that nostalgic visitors may purchase.

Rural Spirits
Jack Daniel's Distillery, founded 150 years ago in Lynchburg, is full of history, provides tours, and hosts BBQ Hill events during warm months. George Dickel Distillery in Tullahoma celebrates 138 years in Cascade Hollow and offers tours six days a week. Beans Creek Winery in Manchester opened in 2004 and hosts events such as the Grape Jam Music Series, wine tastings, and tours. |

Take Something Home
There are an abundance of unique shops scattered throughout the DREMC service area that offer tourists something to take home from their adventure. Here are just a few of the many shops that can be found while visiting these rural areas.
Col. Littleton's provides top quality leather bags, wallets, belts, and more that are manufactured in Lynnville.
Cheese Barn in Shelbyville stocks Wisconsin cheeses, pickled eggs, local honey, gluten free chips, green tomato pickles, and much more!
Nina's Taste of Tennessee in Lynchburg makes sweet treats such as Jack Daniel's fudge, peanut butter fudge, chocolate covered pretzels, and carries jellies, jams, and several gift items.
Vintage Charm Decor in Bell Buckle specializes in custom painted vintage furniture; bring your own, buy items from the store, or purchase their paint and try it yourself.

Feast on Southern Vittles
Hungry tourists can find some scrumptious eats at local restaurants or country stores throughout the area. Here are just a few of our favorites.
The Bell Buckle Cafe serves tasty home-style meals, is famous for their oatmeal cake, and draws famous artists from around the world to come play music on weekends.
JaeBirds Diner in Wartrace serves breakfast, lunch, and interesting deserts, including their delicious deep fried brownie with ice cream.
Ms. Mary Bobo's in Lynchburg requires reservations to dine at their table in their historic boarding house. Halls Mill Country Diner in Unionville serves up some country cooking for lunch and dinner. The BBQ Caboose Cafe in Lynchburg offers good food, novelty items for purchase, and hosts a live radio show once per month. Marcy Jo's Mealhouse & Bakery in Pottsville is a famous family-owned restaurant and music venue. |

Enjoy a meal out on Tims Ford Lake at the Blue Gill Grill in Tullahoma. Take a step back in time with world class burgers and shakes in Manchester at Jiffy Burger, serving customers for over fifty years. Experience the finer things at Ivy Wild in Sewanee or have them cater your next big event. Shenanigans in Sewanee is a fun environment for parties and events or try out their food truck. Sit back and drink coffee, have a great lunch, or enjoy a craft beer in the evening at The Blue Chair Cafe, Bakery and Tavern in Sewanee.
Stop in at Woodards Market & Deli in Lynchburg, grab a bite to eat, stock up on some groceries and gas and don't forget some white cheddar pimento cheese for later.

Experience the History and Entertainment
There are lots of fun things to do in the DREMC service area throughout the year. From festivals to concerts and tractor pulls, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Here are some that we think folks should check out.
Mule Day in Columbia is held in March/April and consists of a parade, music, food, crafts and more. Folks come from all over the country to experience two nights of tractor pulling at the Lions Super Pull of the South during July in Chapel Hill. Bonnaroo in Manchester hosts four days of music, arts and entertainment, parades, food and more in June of each year! Held in June, the RC-Moonpie Festival in Bell Buckle is a day packed full of fun, music, food, crafts, games and more.

The Goats, Music and More Festival in Lewisburg is held for two days in October and consists of music, a parade, goat shows, craft vendors, cruise-in and a three legged goat triathlon.
Daffodil Days in Bell Buckle is held in March and boasts vendors of flower bulbs, plants and more celebrating the beginning of Spring.
The Webb School Art & Craft Show is held in October in Bell Buckle each year and includes oodles of arts and crafts, food, music, and southern hospitality.
The Wartrace Musicfest in June is an afternoon packed full of music, arts, crafts, food, and finishes with an exciting fireworks display.
