The school will be closed from June 20th-July 1st. 

The summer office hours will be 9 pm to 3 pm.

GRILL NIGHTS
Watch for future information, dates and times for this summer's Grill Nights.

There will not be a Grill Night on June 28th as previously scheduled.
SENIORS AND PARENTS: COLLEGE FINANCING

If you plan to apply for federal financial aid for college, go to https://fafsa.ed.gov/.

Both a parent and the student need to create a PIN number. I t's recommended you do this NOW as it can take awhile to receive your number.

Then, remember to have your tax return ready to go as soon as possible so you can have accurate financial aid information when making your college choice.

SUMMER SOCCER!
It's warm and sunny outside and the grass is growing. That means it's time for some fun with your soccer teammates. This year we've reserved the Saint Joseph's athletic field (located immediately behind the school) from 4-6PM on the following Saturdays: 
June 25th, July 9th and 23rd.

Let's get out there and improve our individual and team skills, improve our conditioning, and get a leg up on the fall. We'll play with whoever shows - pick up style. These games are totally voluntary. 
 
Wear your cleats and shin guards and don't forget to bring your own water. Make sure you have a light and dark colored shirt. For more information contact Jason Fisher at  [email protected].
HELP THE SHEARER FAMILY MOVE

The Shearers' are moving and they need your help! They will be moving on Saturday, June 18th starting at 9am. 
WHAT'S UP DOC?  
GET A CHECK UP OVER THE SUMMER Please have your doctor complete our  Private Physician's Report of Physical Exam  form this summer.  This is required for all new students, those entering their junior year and those participating in sports.  If you have any questions, email Nancy or call the school office at 814-867-1177.
DO YOU STILL OWE FOG SERVICE HOURS?
Students often work off some of their family's FOG Service Hours (30 per family) over the summer. Nancy can be very flexible, allowing your student to work the days of the week and hours of the day that are most convenient for you. Additionally, when it is time for your student to complete their first job application, she can serve as a reference. Just contact her by email at [email protected] or call the school office at 814-867-1177.
LOSING YOUR HAIR OVER TEACHING YOUR STUDENT TO DRIVE?
Dave Jameson is offering a Driver Education Program for our Grace Prep students.  If you take six lessons you will also receive a certificate stating you have completed six hours of in car training which should get you a  discount of around 10%  on your car insurance.

Dave is a  certified driver education instructor. If interested just let Dave know and he can get you more information and put you on the schedule.

You will also spend at least one lesson at the DMV practicing parallel parking and the routes they take students on for their test. You will practice at least three times the exact test that will be given on test day.This creates no surprises and less anxiety on test day. Dave has a very high success rate of students who have passed on their first try. When the student passes the test they will get a junior license.

LEGO ROBOTICS CAMP

Robot Camp
There will be LEGO Robotics camps at Grace Prep from Monday, June 27th to Friday, July 1st. Two programs are available. WeDo Robotics is for students entering Grades K-3 and meets from 9am to 10:20am. Mindstorms is for students entering Grades 3-8 and meets from 10:30am to 11:50am. The fee is $60.

After signing up, you may access your account and pay for gift cards from your favorite grocery stores, gas stations, clothing stores, and restaurants. Then, when you visit these locations, you pay for your purchases with your gift cards. Each gift card purchase saves you tuition money.

June is payday! If you're a scrip user your monthly tuition will be reduced this month by the amount you have saved using scrip!
